In light of Yana’s last week being here in our home before she has her 1st baby, we have a special recipe straight from her husband David. This Crab and Shrimp Ceviche is so fresh and amazing, and feeds a crowd if you want it to.
Ceviche is really simple to make since you just chop everything up and add it to one big bowl. Either chop it all by hand, or use this chopper that Yana highly recommends.
This is a such a great recipe to take to a party or when you are hosting as an appetizer. We doubled the recipe for our family, because we double pretty much every recipe at this point. The only alteration we made was making one batch with jalapeños and one batch without. What I love is you can really make it what you want. But I will say, I think the recipe is perfect just as it is, just adjust your spice level as needed.
I wish I could give you a chip with a big scoop through this screen, but since I can’t I will just encourage you to add these ingredients to your shopping list this week and try it out for yourself. This Crab and Shrimp Ceviche is a real treat. Thank you to David and Yana for sharing it with us all.
xo, Sarah

What is El Pato?
Sarah
BettyIt’s a canned tomato sauce!
Gabby
I looked up “el Pato” and it’s a tomato sauce in a can ..it says it’s “Mexican hot style” ..and there seems to be different varieties…my question is ..which one is it exactly ? And is the one this recipe calls for spicy ? Either way can’t wait try this yummy ceviche !! Thanks Yana 🙂 and all the best on your baby girl ! Good bless 🙏🏼♥️
Sarah
GabbyI updated the recipe to show that it is the “yellow” can of El Pato. There is a red can that has jalapeños so if you want a little spicier, I would recommend using that one!
Natalie
