I know sometimes we have the tendency to save really yummy recipes for really special occasions. But that shouldn’t be the case with this Monkey Bread. Not quite sure where it got the name but one thing I do know is that once you try it, your kids (and you) will gobble it up and be planning to make it again soon after!
With ingredients like butter, more butter, cinnamon sugar and brown sugar, you can’t go wrong! In our family, we have a standing Sunday night tradition where Mom doesn’t cook dinner. Instead, we have family snack night where we munch on popcorn, eat a tray of fresh cut-up fruit, make a smoothie and all get our fingers sticky from the star of the show- MONKEY BREAD! It wouldn’t be Sunday night without it.
So whether you are looking for a casual breakfast dish, a sweet treat or even something fun and new to bring to a friend’s house for movie night- look no further than the recipe below. And once you do make it, I’d love to hear what you think in the comments below!

This recipe is delicious! I also love it with black coffee in the morning — a wonderful combo! Or in the afternoon… and evening.
Kristin
Is it 1 stick or 1 cup(2 sticks) of butter…just wanted to double check. 😊

SarahWe did take it to my daughter’s, the next day, and it was delicious! That being said, I think it is best right out of the oven! I plan on making it for the family this weekend and definitely eating it right away! Also, I love that my daughter is expecting a baby boy in August, like you. Our first grandson😊
