Introducing- my favorite summer drink! You guys- this is simple, quick, and delicious. And it looks as good as it tastes. This can be a fun drink any afternoon in the summer at home or great for a backyard BBQ. It’s also fancy enough to be used for a baby shower, birthday party, Mother’s day brunch, etc. This strawberry slushie recipe is easy to put together and even easier to drink. Cheers!
I use fresh strawberries for this, but you could totally puree frozen ones too and that would be just fine. I toss the strawberries in a blender or cuisinart to puree. Take your 16oz. glass or jar, and put 2 heaping spoonfuls of the strawberry puree in the bottom of your glass. Pour in your pineapple juice, then your orange juice. Fill the rest of your glass with sprite and a little ice at the end. Mix it up with your spoon or straw.
These are my favorite mason jars, and if you want cute straws (because why not?), these are so fun. I love having cute glasses to drink out of and for serving at parties.
You all know by now my love for fruit- so this Strawberry Slushie recipe should come as no surprise. But I think you and your kids will love it too. Get creative and swap out the fresh juices for different flavors and find out what your favorite combos are. It’s fun to switch it up and make it your own. Pair it with our other recipes, such as, Arugula Pasta Salad and our favorite Artisan Bread.
