You came to the right place! I have been wanting to share a bit more in depth (and somewhere permanent) all about KiwiCo and how much we love their subscription crates. We have been getting crates from KiwiCo for over 3 years now and it’s so fun for me to watch each of the boys thrive in their different areas of interest. See?! Learning made fun!
Let’s talk levels. KiwiCo has crates all the way from infant up to 14 years old and beyond. When they say there’s something for everyone, there is something for everyone. In the 3 years we have been getting KiwiCo crates, we have been able to experience 7 out of the 9 subscription boxes they offer.
Here is the full list of their subscription crates
Panda Crate (0-24 months)
Koala Crate (ages 2-4)
Kiwi Crate (ages 5-8)
Atlas Crate (ages 6-11)
Yummy Crate (ages 6-14)
Doodle Crate (ages 9-16)
Tinker Crate (ages 9-14)
Maker Crate (ages 14-100)
Eureka Crate (ages 12-100)
What we love about KiwiCo
First I want to start from my perspective. As a homeschooling mom, I LOVE (I repeat LOVE) supplemental learning that my kids can do on their own. Even more, I love that what the crates teach them is something I would never come up with on my own. Most often in my house, the boys sit around the same table, and all work on their crates together. They work on their own, they help each other, and they even play with each others when they are all finished.
Another thing I think is so cool about the crates is that they come with so much extra learning and fun activities beyond what they even create. For instance, each crate comes with a learning booklet, and typically there are 2-3 extra projects related to their topic they can do beyond what’s in their crate with household items.
Now let’s talk about what the boys love. They love that it comes every month. They love that it’s different each month, fun, and something to both build and play with. It’s fun to see how each project suits each boy’s interest. I love that I can switch their levels when the time is right, and it easily transitions them to the next type of learning that’s best for where they are at.
Finally, I love what you get for the price you pay. As you can imagine, signing up for the subscription is going to save you the most money (and my deal will save you even more). This is probably one of the best gifts you could give someone for a birthday, Christmas, or in-between. It’s a gift that they receive month after month (or pick your timeframe). I have given a single box as a birthday gift multiple times! For example, I gifted my 15 year old nephew Caleb the Eureka crate and he loved building the ukulele. Gifting also gives other parents exposure to the brand in case they want to keep it going.

projects by age
Here’s a first hand look at the boy’s crates, I hope you enjoy seeing their creations below.
Jude is currently doing the Eureka Crate and he got to build a mechanical domino machine.
Hudson did the Doodle Crate and built a shadow box.
Chase is doing the Kiwi Crate and built 2 different kaleidoscopes.
Crew also did the Kiwi Crate this month and learned about ‘My Body and me’. He built a stethoscope and plush organs. He also learned about x-rays.
Beck did the Koala Crate and built a bulldozer and crane.
Griffy got the Panda Crate this month called ‘Let’s Play’. It had age appropriate toys for him to play with.
I hope I was able to help you see how much we truly love KiwiCo. I love how learning is made fun through all their different levels and it fits each of my boys so well in the season they are in. I wouldn’t be using it for over 3 years now if I didn’t truly love the product. Get started with KiwiCo today and join the fun!

Hey Sarah! I love following your family! We also love and use KiwiCo. The only thing I have a problem with is what to do with all the projects when they are done. I don’t like a lot of clutter and “stuff” everywhere. Do you have a solution for this? I end up throwing my kids projects away after a few months. I don’t love that but it is what it is.
Sarah
Hailee AllenHi Hailee- I totally get that. I view Kiwico projects as more of a learning craft, so once they are built I let them enjoy and play with them until it’s not an interest anymore (usually about a month), then we let go of them too☺️
