Imagine if you will:
a little red-headed girl… lover extraordinaire of all things fruit… sitting at the kitchen counter. I’m dipping fruit, to my heart’s content, into a heavenly mixture of cream cheese, marshmallow creme, and my Mom’s homemade strawberry jam. This is Nana’s Easy Fruit Dip!! This easy fruit dip has been around as long as I have and is absolutely the easiest and the best ever.
It takes 3 ingredients, 5 minutes and, of course, some fruit to dip! The recipe is also easy to double.
It’s so simple there are really no extra tips needed! Mix everything using your hand mixer or stand mixer (as a second option). Put the finished dip in a fancy bowl or a Tupperware: honestly doesn’t matter-it’s delicious either way. Grab some cut up fruit and enjoy!
The jam can be any jam, any flavor. It’s pretty unanimous around our home that our homemade strawberry jam is the best but occasionally we make it with raspberry jam for a change. Homemade- or store bought jam – they both work great!
If you happen to have any left-over it does store well in the fridge for a week, if not a little longer.
Be sure to send pictures of this Easy Fruit Dip when you make it so I can drool and dream of it! In fact, I might just run into the kitchen right now and whip out a batch!
